Kids’ Summer Craft Camp
GET REGISTERED NOW TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT!
We have limited space and the spots fill up fast!
(In past years we have held our craft camp over the course of 6 weeks during the summer break, but due to some scheduling conflicts this year, we will only hold 4 craft camps throughout the month of June.)
- Craft Camp will be held Tuesdays from 11am-12:30pm on the following dates:
- June 6- 2 Pocket Craft Apron
- June 13- Glass Mosaic Tile Frame
- June 20th- Painted Rock Emoji Tic Tac Toe w/ Painted Woodgrain Board
- June 27th- Footprints on the Beach Painted Canvas
- Cost is $10.00 per child per class
- You can sign up for one class or all of them, just call us at 502-570-5966 or stop by to register.
- You must be signed up and prepaid at least 1 week prior to the class to reserve your spot. (This is so we can make sure we have enough supplies to accommodate all the kids and since some of the supplies have to be ordered, we need enough time to get them in prior to the class.)
- The fee is non-refundable, however if you end up with a last minute scheduling conflict, we can arrange a time to come in and make up the class.
- You can sign up for one class or all of them, just call us at 502-570-5966 or stop by to register.
- Open to ages 5 and up
- The projects that we make are durable arts & crafts that appeal to younger ages as well as teens and adults, and are above the skill level of children under 5.
- Adults are welcome to sign up if they would like to make the crafts as well- we’ve had numerous projects in the past that have had both the young and young at heart in attendance. 🙂
- Parents are always welcome to stay and help, but it’s not required, so feel free to take the time to run errands or just take an hour for yourself!
- Project photos for each of the specific weeks can be found on our Facebook Group along with it’s class date & details, and class description and details are also on our Calendar.
Summer Consignment Sale
Saturday 7/15/17 11am-8pm
(Please note that the Summer Consignment is being held a couple weeks earlier this year than normal due to some scheduling conflicts.)
SHOPPERS:
- Items in the Consignment Sale are sold on a first come basis
- We will not hold or set aside consignment items for purchase prior to the sale.
- Once the doors have opened for the sale, we are more than happy to set aside larger items you wish to purchase by placing your name on them while you continue to shop (such as paper racks, Cricut Machines, rolling totes, or even an armload of smaller supplies.)
- If you want to make sure to get a specific item in the sale, we recommend coming a little early to line up the morning of the sale- there is usually quite a large crowd lined up prior to the sale
- For those of you who have never attended one of our consignment sales (and as those of you who have attended can attest to) the store gets fairly crowded and the checkout line tends to be a little long for the first couple hours.
CONSIGNEES:
- If you plan to sell items in the Consignment Sale, they may be dropped off anytime from Saturday 7/8 – Friday 7/14 between 11am-8pm.
- Don’t forget we are closed on Sundays & Wednesdays.
- Scrap Paper Scizzors keeps 10% of the proceeds from all items sold, and you will receive the balance as store credit.
- Just put your initials (must be 3 letters- for example- first, middle, and last MDW), and the price you are asking on each of your items, as well as the item # (from 1 to whatever).
- Bring an itemized inventory list with corresponding item #, basic description (such as “paper pack” or “assorted stamps”), prices/quantities, and grand total for all items selling, along with your consignment items when you drop them off.
- Numbering all of your items on both the price sticker and inventory list makes it easier for us to reconcile your items after the sale.
- If you are selling papers or loose sticker sheets/embellishments, they must be bundled into ziploc bags and sold as a unit.
- This will prevent them from becoming damaged and allow us to more easily track your inventory, as well as make them easier to shop.
- 2 gallon ziploc bags for 12×12 paper can usually be found at the Dollar Tree, and occasionally are available at Walmart or Kroger.
- PLEASE make sure your ziploc bags close completely so that the items do not fall out
- We will not be held responsible for loose items that have fallen out of their packages & become damaged or lost due to improper packaging.
- This will prevent them from becoming damaged and allow us to more easily track your inventory, as well as make them easier to shop.
- Please feel free to call 502-570-5966 or email us with any questions you may have.
