Scrap Paper Scizzors is a scrapbook store located in Georgetown Kentucky. We offer a fresh approach to scrapbooking from our hip hard-to-find papers and embellishments to our classes for every type of scrapbooker from beginners to advanced.

We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season with friends and family! The New Year is for new beginnings and we hope you’ll help us celebrate this new year with us in our new location!

NEWS

We are now open at our new address at 131 N. Broadway. (This is the same building we were originally in for the first 4 years, but in a different space, so you can still park in the front parking lot.) Our front door is located directly across the street from Dan’s Pawn Shop. For detailed directions and map, check out the directions tab above.

*Our phones and internet are now working! So feel free to contact us at our main store #502-570-5966 or by email at scrappapescizzors@gmail.com. This also means we can now take credit cards again! WOOHOO!

PRODUCTS (updated 1/19)

Between the Holiday rush, Inventory, and the move, we have been low on basic supplies this past couple of weeks, but we finally received the order we were waiting for, and are now restocked on all of our basics! So if you were waiting on specific Core & Bazzill Cardstock colors, tape runners & refills, glue dots, 3D Foam Squares,  Zig Glue Pens (roller ball), or 12×12 Cricut Mats, they are now in stock! New styles of  Dazzles Stickers are also now in stock!

We are still waiting on a second order containing some backorder items (a few remaining cardstock colors not received on the first order above, Jumbo & Chisel Tip Zig Glue Pens, as well as some special order items) that is scheduled to come in next week, so if you need a specific item that is not in yet, just let us know and we’ll be glad to hold it for you and call you when it gets here! And if you need an item not already on order, we can special order just about any item- just ask (turnaround is usually about a week)! :)

Also, it is getting close to that time of year when we start getting the pre-CHA show catalogs with all of the new products, therefore we will be placing tons of orders over the next couple months for this year’s new seasonal items and hot new products! So be sure to check back frequently for our listing of new products received in!

WE HAVE MOVED-STORE REOPENS TUESDAY 1/3/12

We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season with friends and family! The New Year is for new beginnings and we hope you’ll help us celebrate this new year with us in our new location!

We are finally finished with the move and are now open at our new address at 131 N. Broadway. (This is the same building we were originally in for the first 4 years, but in a different space, so you can still park in the front parking lot.) We will be open all this week Tues. 1/3-Sat. 1/7 11am-8pm. However starting next week, 1/8, we will be closed on Sundays and Wednesdays, and will be open 11-8 all of the other days.

For the rest of this week, we are offering 25% off all in-store merchandise including discount items (not valid on Cricut cartridges or consignment items.)

Our phone lines are now working, so if you need to get in touch with us, just call our main# 502-570-5966. However, our internet is still not back up- AT&T is supposed to be back out here Monday to fix it, so until then, we will be unable to view emails during the day at the store. If you need to reach us, please feel free to call.

Since our credit card processing is done through the internet, and our internet connection will not be up until sometime Monday we will only be able to take cash, checks, and store gift certificates for purchases until then. We apologize for the inconvenience.

MOVING SALE!

Come in for one last day of deals before the new year and help us reduce the amount of stuff we have to move! Everything in the store is 25% off on Tuesday 12/27 only.  So come on in and stock up on whatever you need! (Valid on regular priced and discount items- in-store only. Not valid on Silhouette or Cricut Machines & Cartridges, or consignment items.) The Special Order Cricut cartridge sale list below is also still valid while supplies last!

This will be the last day we will be open in our current location at 403 S. Broadway before we move to the new location at 131 N. Broadway. We will post updates regarding the date for reopening over the weekend (this will depend on how long it takes for us to get set back up at the new location). We are shooting for either Jan. 2nd or 3rd, but check back here for further details. For those of you who shopped with us before this past year, we will be moving back down into our old building, but into a different space. We will now be in the front space with the windows along the street- if you are facing the front parking lot, we would be in the space on the right along the sidewalk. You may still park in the rear parking lot, however we will not have back door access into our space, so you would just need to walk back up Cooper Alley to the front door. We will be updating the  map and directions on the directions tab within the next couple of days.

For those of you who have special orders coming in, we are still waiting to receive both a Provocraft and Notions order, so as soon as those come in, we will give you a call to come pick up your items even if we are not reopen in the new location yet.

If you want to be sure to get exactly what you want for Christmas, then come in and fill out our Scrap-Happy Christmas Wish List! We will keep it on file for you during the Month of December, so you can just send your friends and family into the store and we’ll pull your list for them to shop from.  No more crazy Christmas Sweaters and socks under the tree for you- only awesome scrapbook supplies! Santa couldn’t do it better!

SCRAP PAPER SCIZZORS WILL BE MOVING AT THE END OF THE YEAR. We will be open in our current location through Tues. 12/27, and then will be closed Wed. 12/28 – Sun. 1/1 for inventory and moving.  We will open after Jan. 1st at the new location.  We will actually be moving back down into the same building we were in before at 131 N. Broadway, but will be in the space next door where the auction house used to be in the front of the building. So you can still park in the front parking lot, then go in the front door that faces Broadway along the sidewalk (there is a ramp there at the door). Or you can still park in the back and then walk up the alley and come in the front door.  Sometime next weekend we will post the new directions w/map and specific dates for reopening once we determine how long it will take us to get everything painted and set back up.
