  • Copic I Techniques- Saturday 8/20 (11am-4pm) Come in and learn loads of techniques for using the Copic Markers, and go home with 3 markers, a color table, and a technique reference guide which will include all of your samples, instructions on how to do each technique, and a list of the colors used for each sample. You will receive 15% off any Copic items purchased or special ordered the day of the class.  And as a bonus for having taken the class, you will receive 10% off any future Copic purchases for LIFE!  You can’t beat that!  But, be sure to call and register ASAP, as these classes fill up quickly!

Happy Independence Day!

We will be closed on Monday 7/4 for the holiday, however we will be open regular store hours all other days before and after the 4th.

NEWS

Temperatures are rising, and it seems that summer is in full swing.  Everyone is rushing around carting the kids to softball games, the pool, Vacation Bible School, the park, and here to the store for our Kids’ Craft Camp and Kids’ Scrapbook Club.  But don’t forget to take some time off to relax and enjoy some time to yourself.  We don’t just have kids’ classes during the summer, we have lots of fun classes and crops for Mom throughout the summer too!  So check out our calendar and set aside some time to yourself to come in and get creative!  We also have free open crop time M-F 11am-5pm for you to come in and work on your own projects, and you can use any of the tools in our crop area absolutely free! (Check the calendar before coming out for open crop times to be sure no kids’ classes are going on during that time.)

Don’t forget our Summer Consignment Sale is coming up on Saturday July 30 11am-8pm. CLASSES & CROPS

Kids’ Classes- it’s not too late to sign your kids up for our summer Kids’ Craft Camp or our Kids’ Scrapbook Club.

  • In the Kids’ Craft Camp, we are offering a different craft each week, so whether you sign them up for one class, or all of them, they are sure to have a great time and go home with quality finished craft items that they will treasure for years to come.  And for a super low price of only $10.00 per child for each class, it’s affordable and won’t break the bank whether you have 1 child or several children attending! This class is open to kids ages 5 and up.
  • In the Kids’ Scrapbook Club, they will be working on completing a 20 page 8×8 scrapbook album.  This class meets for an hour and a half once a week for 5 weeks (they will complete 4 pages per week) and includes all materials including 8×8 album in the color of their choice.  We have held 2 classes so far, but don’t worry, it’s not too late to join in- we will be holding a make-up day at the end of the 5 weeks in case you missed any classes for late registration or due to vacation or conflicting schedule.  It’s only $65.00 and is open to kids ages 8 and up.
  • Quick & Simple Scrapbooking- Celebrate Freedom- Wednesday 7/6 (6-8pm) $10.00 (view sample of this layout in store or at www.inkable.blogspot.com)
  • Stamp Club- Thursday 7/7 (6-8pm) $8.00 (or place a $25.00 Stampin’ Up order and get the class for free)

    And as always, we have loads of class kits available from previous month classes, as well as several pre-made layouts we’ve put together from previous classes.  So come by and check them out and pick up some quick, easy pages to fill your scrapbook with little to no work! Class Kits run $10, $15 or $20.  Premade pages run $5-$20.

Jumpin’ Junebugs…Summer has Arrived!

The kids are finally out of school and vacations have been planned, but once everything settles down for the summer, you’re going to need to find fun, affordable activities to keep the kids busy without breaking the bank.  Well, look no further, we have just what you’re looking for.

  • Sign the kids up for our 6 week Kids’ Craft Camp to be held every Tuesday morning starting on June 21 from 11am-12:30pm for only $10.00 per session!  Throughout the summer we will create a variety of high quality craft projects that your kids will cherish for years to come.  For more details on craft projects and registration, please check out the calendar tab and click on “Kids’ Craft Camp” for the date you are interested in.  These classes have filled up very quickly in the past, so be sure to register early to reserve your spot.  These classes are open to kids 5 and up.
  • And if your kids are also into scrapbooking, we have added a brand new Kids’ Scrapbook Club to our calendar for the summer this year.  This is a 5 week club to be held on Monday evenings 6-7:30pm beginning on June 20.  Over the course of the 5 week club, each child will complete a 20 page 8″x8″ album (4 scrapbook pages per class). The cost for each class is $15.00 for a total of $75.00 for all 5 classes, or if you pay for the entire 5 week session up front, you pay only $60.00 (a $15.00 savings)!  For details on class dates, check out our calendar tab and click on “Kids’ Scrapbook Club”.  These classes are open to kids 8 & up.

Memories in May

What better month to work on preserving all of those precious memories from the past than the one that includes Memorial Day and is also National Scrapbook Month?!  I know, I know, I fell a little behind in getting the newsletter out this month, but believe me, it’s been a busy one so far, and there’s plenty more to come.

NEWS

If you missed our all day crop on National Scrapbook Day on May 7, don’t worry, you have a second chance for an all day scrapbook event during our MEMORIAL DAY CROP on Monday May 30, from 10am-10pm.  It’s only $20.00 and we will be providing 1 meal, snacks and drinks for the day.  We’ll also have fun games with prizes to keep you inspired throughout the day.  There will also be sale specials going on throughout the day for croppers and shoppers, so even if you can’t make it to the crop, swing by for some fabulous store-wide deals.

And in honor of National Scrapbook Month, we have been holding sale specials throughout the month.  From now through the end of the month all patterned paper regularly priced at $.59 is now only 3 for a $1.00!  And to make this deal even better, we just put out several brand new K & Co. collections, MME collections, and Pressed Petals collections that are included in this sale!
